Homeland Titles

This is Sean Callery talking about the music which made up the opening titles. I thought that Homeland would be a good title to take inspiration from in our own production. The scene is inside the main characters unconscious mind, whilst she is trying to prevent a major terror attack on the US. The titles are in a white font on a background with different pictures and video clip; I think this is significant because it could reflect the innocence of a country with all these terrible things going on in the background. I think the quick transitions between slides show the chaos in America in hard times, and the pictures of a young Carrie (main protagonist) show her innocence and normality also. The maze is very cliché but signifies the 'cat and mouse chase' between Carrie and Brody (second main protagonist). I would like to replicate something like this in our final production because it creates an air of mystery around the story, with lots of jumping from scene to scene.
